Armoiria
Privacy Policy
Last updated · August 31, 2026
Your closet is yours. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have, in plain language, not legalese.
Data we collect
- Account information: email, username, and avatar (managed by Supabase Auth, our auth provider).
- Wardrobe data: the clothing items, outfits, and photos you upload.
- Social data: your connections, feed posts, likes, and comments.
- Push notification tokens: only so we can deliver the notifications you enable.
- Usage analytics: aggregated, anonymized metrics that help us improve the app (opt-in).
How we use your data
- To provide wardrobe management, outfit planning, and AI recommendations.
- To enable social features: connections, the feed, and sharing you choose.
- To send push notifications for social interactions you've opted into.
- To generate AI outfit suggestions and auto-categorize items from photos.
AI processing
Armoiria uses Google's Gemini API to power recommendations, image categorization, and item similarity. Photos and item data are sent to Gemini for processing but are not stored by Gemini beyond the request. You can use the app without AI features; they degrade to deterministic fallbacks when the AI key is unavailable.
Privacy controls
- Wardrobe and outfits are private by default. You can set visibility per item or per outfit: only me, friends-only, or everyone.
- Granular notification mutes: turn off likes, comments, follows, or follow-request alerts independently.
- Per-photo control: every photo you upload respects the privacy setting of the item it belongs to.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data, ever. Your wardrobe and outfits stay private unless you explicitly share them. The only third parties who process your data are our infrastructure providers (Supabase for storage and auth, Gemini for AI), all under data-processing agreements.
Data storage
- Armoiria is operated from India; its primary data infrastructure is located in the United States.
- All structured data is stored on Supabase (US-based, SOC 2 compliant).
- Wardrobe photos live on your device and render from the on-device library. Only photos you explicitly share (a feed post's generated composite, or an avatar resolved via a short-lived signed URL) are stored in Supabase Storage bucket
wardrobe-photos(avatars/<userId>/…) with owner-scoped policies. - Every stored photo path is bound to your user ID; other users cannot read it unless you grant access.
Your rights
- Delete your account anytime, in-app, from Profile → Account. This cascades through every table and every stored photo, fully removed within seconds.
- Export: use Settings → Data & privacy in the app to download your JSON or ZIP export at any time. Contact [email protected] if you need help accessing it.
- Revoke AI access: AI features can be disabled; the app continues to work.
