Cost per wear (CPW) divides what you paid for an item by how many times you actually wear it. One small number turns a closet full of receipts into a wardrobe that has to earn its keep. That's the whole calculator. The hard part was never the division — it's knowing the “times worn” for 200 items. Pen-and-paper CPW dies at item three; the number is only honest if the wears are counted for you.

How do I calculate cost per wear?

Divide price by times worn. The hard part is the denominator — counting wears across a whole closet by hand dies at item three, which is why Armoiria counts them for you from your outfit logs.

What is a good cost per wear?

There is no universal target, but as a rule of thumb items under $1–2 per wear behave like wardrobe staples, and anything above $5 per wear is usually a purchase to learn from. Compare items against your own closet average, not a magazine list.
